We’re always excited to go visit Local Fresh Fish Markets while traveling Sri Lanka. In Trincomalee they have a wholesale market near to bus station with literally piles of seafood. We were told it was the second largest fish market in Sri Lanka but we noticed it was quite small so we don’t know how true that is. But we think it is a must visit if you’re in the area and love seafood as it is fairly priced and you will walk away satisfied every time!
