A Day on the Streets of Nago Dec 1986

From the cars to the hair styles; the clothing to the sidewalk video games, this is definitely a flash back to the 1980s on Okinawa.
On this day we traveled up Rte 329 from Camp Hansen to Camp Schwab then into Nago for a day of shopping and exploration. It had been 11 or 12 years since we’d been in this picturesque city on the East China Sea. We hadn’t noticed until we were coming back to get our van that the parking lot we chose was situated beneath the famous Gajumaru!
