We can’t get over the beautiful landscape and fall colors at Genkyuen Garden in Shiga Prefecture! This daimyo (Japanese feudal lord) garden was built in the early Edo period about 50 years after the construction of Hikone Castle. The garden grounds feature a central pond and walking trail with beautiful stonework that you have to see for yourself! Thank you @yokota_rocks for capturing the beauty of Genkyuen Garden for us all!
