In today’s Japan Travel series, let’s explore the Nagoya subway area, Japan.

Nagoya Station is the largest railway station in Japan and in the world, known locally as Meieki.

This is a major railway station in Nakamura-ku, Nagoya, Japan. One of the largest train stations in the world and is the headquarters of the Japan Central Railway Company (JR Central). Much of this space is located in the JR Central Towers above the station, as well as the underground lounge below. The station complex was completed on December 20, 1999.

The Nagoya subway has six lines. At Nagoya Subway Station, you can take two subway lines: the Higashiyama line and the Sakura-dori line. For the main destinations below, all fares and travel times are available from Nagoya Station.

If you have time, I encourage you to explore Nagoya Station. There are so many fashion boutiques and boutiques to see and eat that you can have a good time all day.
