This is a short video of my trip to Nagasaki in Japan.

Riding the Shinkansen from Hakata Station in Fukuoka, I arrived in Nagasaki in about 2 hours and visited one of the popular attractions, Huis Ten Bosch, a European modelled theme park.

Located in Sasebo, Nagasaki, the park recreates the Netherlands by displaying life-sized copies of old Dutch buildings. The name Huis Ten Bosch translates into English as “House at the Woods/Bush”. It has several sections, each with different theme and setting. One of the popular sites was the one with the big “live” Dinosaur spitting water on you!

It’s a lovely park and to some extent, you do feel like you are in Europe and I love the atmosphere and setting. There are cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops all around.

I spent about half a day here and left the park closed to 5.00pm for the next destination. If I could afford to stay a little while longer, I would be able to see the beautiful light-up theme park!

Do checkout the relevant photos in my Tripadvisor, Instagram or Facebook profile as I was not unable to shoot too many videos there due to lack of memory in my SD card as I forgot to transfer the day’s before videos into my hard disk.

Do stay tune to more of my videos in Japan and the rest of the world as I “walk-around the world”!
