Check out the sky opening up for Oarai Isosaki-jinja Shrine in Ibaraki Prefecture! This seaside shrine stands facing the Pacific Ocean and is rumored to have been built in 856 A.D. The torii gate featured here is called “Kamiiso-no-Torii” and is considered to be one of the largest torii gates in the Kanto region!
