Today, I’ll give you a taste of what’s A Day in Japan is like. For this episode, I’ll be showing to you how I Commute to School, from my apartment in Tarumi Ward to JR Kobe Station in Chūou (Central) Ward.
We’ll also have a brief tour inside the school and some noteworthy areas around it.
JR stands for Japan Railway – Japan’s leading for-profit railway company with elaborate well-established network of trains throughout the country.
Mamachari ママチャリ – a slang Japanese term which means “mom’s bike”, is a type of standard, mostly cheap bicycles usually used by mothers for various tasks in their day-to-day life.
A Walkthrough Kobe: Harborland & Meriken Park:
Hi, I’m Nikko! I’m from the Philippines but currently call Japan home. I’ve been living here for almost 3 years but just started making travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts in Kobe, Japan (for now), documenting the most visited (and not) places near me. If you see any factual errors in my videos, feel free to politely let me know in the comments.
