During the September through 1 October season, you’ll see that Japan celebrates Tsukimi, where locals will view the moon and celebrate its luminous view.

And McDonald’s Japan has adapted the new Tsukimi style to its burgers and menu.

Tsukimi Burger

McDonald’s also has a set of Tsukimi burgers, pies, and mcFlurries. The Tsukimi burgers resemble a moon, which is unique. The burger is also known as the “Gold Moon.”

The burger is made up of bacon, beef patty, eggs, and cheddar cheese, which you’ll have to try out.

Shaka Shaka Shrimp Tempura Fries

These are regular french fries that you can put into an extra bag, add tempura seasoning, and then shake the bag until the fries and seasoning thoroughly mix.

Once mixed, you’ll be able to experience the tempura and shrimp flavor which is delicious.

Tsukimi Pie

The Tsukimi pie looks like a regular apple pie, consisting of red beans and mochi wrapped from within. The pies are delicious as well.
