玄界灘に浮かぶ離島の相島には１００匹を優に超える野良猫たちが自由気ままに暮らしています。
近年、世界６大猫スポットとして注目され、「猫の島」、「野良猫の天国の島」、「猫が支配している場所」として海外のメディアにも取り上げられています。
対岸の漁協から定期船に乗船して相島にたどり着き、島内を散策。
途中で出会った猫たちと猫語（笑）で言葉を交わしながら、楽しい時間を過ごします。
On the remote island of Ainoshima in the Genkai Sea, well over 100 stray cats live freely.
In recent years, it has attracted attention as one of the world’s six major cat spots, and has been featured in overseas media as “Cat Island,” “The feral felines of Cat Heaven Island,” and “Cat-controlled Place.”
I board a regular boat from the fishery cooperative on the opposite bank to reach Ainoshima and take a walk around the island.
I have a good time communicating with the cats I met along the way.
