In this video, I walk in one of my all-time favourite spots in Tokyo, the Todoroki Valley (等々力渓谷) and its nearby temple Todoroki Fudoson (等々力不動尊). This is a natural ravine, the only of its kind, located in central Tokyo, only a few minutes by train from Shibuya. Despite being so close to the city centre, one can feel completely surrounded by lush nature here. As I live relatively nearby, I often come here when I feel that urban life gets too overwhelming.
In the video, I walk through the entire part of the valley, which is relatively small. This is the first video from Tokyo that I’ve shot this year. I hope to be able to get back to shooting and walking again soon, once everything is back to normal in the world again!
The nearest station is Todoroki on the Oimachi Line.
