The Algarve is, without a doubt, the ultimate Portuguese summer destination! It’s also one of the hottest European travel getaways for all lovers of sun, sea, beach holidays and gorgeous coastlines. The region has over 100 miles of coast, and has so, so many beaches so there’s plenty of room for everybody. It’s no wonder why people flock to the glorious south whenever the temperature rises and the weather gets hot. We assure you will not regret the holidays to Algarve.
Along with friends, we based ourselves in Carvoeiro, this pretty little seaside town with white-washed houses atop picturesque cliffs. I’m a believer of slow travel, and I prefer longer stays. So this Algarve trip was perfect as we immersed ourselves for 12 days in everything delightfully Algarvian. Now, we can officially be the ‘Algarve travel guide’ for you all!
