At a distance of just 70 km from Bangalore, Mandaragiri hill is the perfect weekend getaway near Tumkur. It’s just 450 steps of an easy trek to enjoy serene sunrise or beautiful sunset. There are 3 ancient Jain temples on top of the hill and a very beautiful Pinchi (peacock feather duster) shaped Jain temple with the statue of Bahubali at the foothills of the temple.
