Mawarimedaira – Mawarimedaira, also known as the Yosemite of Japan, is surrounded by the Ogawa Mountains Yaneiwa and granite towers at the northeast foot of Mt. It is nearly 1,600m above sea level, and in the summer months it is a busy auto-camping ground.

Nasu Highland Observatory – Located at an altitude of 1,048m, this observatory offers a panoramic view of Nasunogahara and Mount Yamizo during the daytime and a beautiful night view at night. You can also see the sea of clouds when the weather conditions are right.
