【ミシュランレストラン】ナパで格安ミシュランレストランでの夕食
ナパの有名ステーキハウスでレストランウイークに行ってきました
1月ー2月はレストラン業界にとって最も暇な時期です。
そこで良いレストランが集まってレストランウィークをあちこちの都市で行行ってます。 毎年サンフランシスコのレストランウィークには行くんですが、今年は少し遠出してみる事にしました。 ナパレストランウィークを調べた所、前から行きたかったCharlie Palmer Steakhouseが＄４８で3コースだったので3週間前から予約をして行ってきました。せっかくだから、まったりと週末をナパで過ごそうと言う事で一泊二日のプチ旅行。 29号線から少し離れたワイナリー二件とランチをナパのダウンタウンで。
ホテルにチェックインして落ち着いてから夜のナパの街に繰り出しました。
ホテルからレストランまで歩いて5分もかからなかったので、思いっきりワインをたしなめる事が出来て最高でした。なんと夕食ではワインペアリングが一人＄17で飲みたい放題で3種類のワインを飲み続けて酔っ払いました。
来年もこんなDEALが有れば絶対に行きます。
For the restaurant industry, January and February are the worst sales in the year. So lots of nice restaurants gather up and put out affordable Pre-fixed menu during the restaurant week. We do go to San Francisco Restaurant Week every year however, lots of cities do this for these days. So we decided to celebrate early Valentine’s day in Napa this year.
I booked Charlie Palmer Steakhouse 3 weeks in advance. Booked the hotel near by. The rest is just go with flow. Whatever happens….
But 3 course dinner for $48 and wine pairing $17 per person were just “bargain” for the fancy place like this. We enjoyed the food, wine and each other and had blast in Napa. We are definitely return next year if COVID-19 is settled down.
