Irozaki is on the southernmost point of Izu Peninsula, Japan.
Towards south over 3,800 km there is no land till New Guinea Island. So you will get an incredible view from Irozaki Cape.
From here you will get three best views of izu Peninsula. you can see the vast Pacific Ocean from here. This is the best place to take wonderful pictures blue marine, green forest and black rocky cliffs.
To reach Irozaki you need to take a Tokai Bus from Izukyu-shimoda Station bound for Irozaki. It will be a 42 mins bus ride. You can enjoy the beautiful scenic beauty while sitting idle in the bus.
This bus stop and parking area is quiet huge. From here we need to walk to see The Irozaki lighthouse and Iro Shrine at the cape.
This Irozaki lighthouse is one of the Top 50 Lighthouses of Japan. From here you will get the magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean.
Near the horizon you can see the seven islands of Izu. You can see the Pacific ocean and you can see the horizon also where the sky and sea meets..
Here you can see Kumano Shrine. And it is smaller than Iro Shrine. You can see small wooden plates. And these are called Ema. Here people write their wishes for match making
There is IroShrine. It is believed that iro shrine was built 1300 years ago.Iro Shrine is dedicated to the God of sailors. It is a lovely little wooden shrine on the edge of the cliff.
