shimoda island plateau is located at shizuoka prefecture 4-5 hrs drive away from Tokyo.. it is a group of island formed with rocks over million years ago.. perfectly sculptured by mother nature.. but unfortunately I haven’t got the chance to step in to those plateau because no boat is available on that day.. so make sure you give a call to the travel agency near them and ask for further information or google for shimoda tours they will be glad to assist you.. but yet it’s still mind blowing scenery..
