★Starting Point: ★
Near Wuyi Square. The very central downtown area of Changsha.

All the houses in this area are being pulled down to make room for the new skyscrapers.

Before the construction of new buildings starting, I try to record the debris scene of this area.

Actually, most of the old houses of here were built in 1980’s or 1990’s. Many people must have a unforgettable memory of this place.

So, I called this trip The Walking Tour From Yesterday To tomorrow.

★Changsha is one of China’s great inland metropolises, and it is now opening up for tourism. It is interesting for tourists because it is less touristy, more authentically Chinese, and prices are lower than in the better known tourist locals.

★Changsha is not so well-known as Shanghai or Beijing, but It’s really a city that worth a visit. As the perspective of visitors,Changsha has both historic sites and modernization.

★8.5 million people live in Changsha city.

★The distance between Changsha and Beijing is 1339 km.
★The distance between Changsha and Shanghai is 886 km.
★The distance between Wuhan and Changsha is 293 km.
