The Misawa Aviation & Science Museum, Aomori is one of the Japan’s largest aeronautical science museum, located on Misawa City where was departure place of “Miss Veedol” when it succeeded to fly non-stop across the Pacific Ocean as the first airplane in the world. There is a replica of “Miss Veedol” and a Japan made passenger aircraft “YS-11” and others on display. Visitors, both of adults and children, can enjoy learning science and technology with displays and hands-on exhibits, such as a flight simulator.
