2020年8月、ペルセウス座流星群の極大日期間に静岡県の川根本町、大井川上流の山々の奥地にある秘境と呼ばれる接岨峡、寸又峡周辺に向かいました。
光に照らされたエメラルドグリーン色に輝く湖や河川は昼も夜もとても神秘的で、特に大井川鐵道の奥大井湖上駅を見渡せる景観は空と山とを合わせた自然の壮大なコントラストが広がっていて目が奪われました。
ペルセウス座流星群は例年よりやや少ない印象を受けましたが晴れている間には流星が多数確認でき、また深夜から昇ってきた月が夜の秘境を照らして、そこにまた絶景が広がっていました。
今回撮影当日の日中の最高気温は連日39℃を記録したかなりの猛暑の夜もまた高温で、高感度や長秒撮影が必要な星の撮影では撮影のデータに熱ノイズが無数に出ており、現像編集時には気を使いました。
In August 2020, the peak day of the Perseid meteor shower, I headed to Sessokyo and Sumatakyo area which is called the unexplored area in the mountainous area upstream of the Oi River in Shizuoka Prefecture.
Emerald green lakes and rivers illuminated by lights are very beautiful day and night, and the view of Okuoi-kojyo Station on the Oigawa Railway was particularly eye-catching because of the magnificent contrast of nature.
In the Perseid meteor shower, many meteors could be seen in the clear hours, and the unexplored scenery of the night illuminated by the moon rising from midnight was also magnificent.
