Eating Horse Meat Sashimi in Japan

What does raw horse meat taste like? On our last trip to Japan we visited a restaurant in Fukushima that specializes in horse meat where we enjoyed an omakase style meal at the “sushi bar” — except it wasn’t blue fin tuna we were being served, it was horse!
