Trivia: When I visited Suga Shrine Otoko-zaka Stairs, there were still a few people shooting pictures posing like the characters from Your Name despite the movie was released 4 years ago already. By the way, did you see wooden plaques at Suga Shrine at 23:45 ? Those are called “ema”. People write their prayers or wishes on them. There were quite a few emas that say “I want to be an animator” or “I want to be a manga artist.” Is it because Your Name made a huge hit? And the stairs happened be featured in the movie and people started to believe Suga Shrine is a place to be for animators or manga artists wanna be? Anyway if you haven’t seen this movie “Your Name” yet, please give it a try. Even my father said he enjoyed it. Even if you are not a fan of Anime like me and my father, I’m sure you can still enjoy it.
