Welcome to Day 1 Episode 2 of my 2020 Summer Vacation Road Trip around northern Japan. This summer I only got one week off for my break, so I decided to hit the road and drive north through Tohoku Japan. I packed up the car with my camping gear and hit the road. I don’t have a destination in sight, I just want to drive up the Japan Sea coastline and head north as far as possible. My goal is to make it to Aomori, but we’ll see. I’m going to stay off the highway and use only the local roads, cutting through small towns and villages along the way. Join me on this road trip adventure through northern Japan.
