Welcome to episode 4 of our re-edited Hitchhiking from Thailand to Spain series. We hope that you are all enjoying this crazy adventure with us.

In this episode we’ve just crossed into our third country on this trip, China. We start out by being a bit startled by nearly not having been let into the country and experiencing some massive language barriers.

If that wasn’t enough we nearly get stranded in the middle of nowhere, but are rescued by the sweetest driver.

On our third day hitchhiking in China we get picked up by a Chinese woman who takes us 300 kilometres to Kunming. She ends up spending $250 on us and we don’t know how to repay her. Unfortunately this amazing experience takes a turn for the worse and we have to sleep rough.
