This time Kaushal and his four friends visited Kumbh Mela 2019 held in Prayagraaj (Allahabad). Abhilasha and Araina did not accompany him. It was a day long tour of Kumbh.
Kumbh Mela is a mass Hindu pilgrimage of faith where millions of pilgrims gather to bathe to wash away their sins. The four Kumbh Melas are : the Prayagraj Kumbh Mela, Haridwar Kumbh Mela, the Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Simhastha, and Ujjain Simhastha.
These four fairs are held periodically at one of the following places by rotation: Allahabad (Prayagraj), Haridwar, Nashik district (Nashik and Trimbak), and Ujjain. The main festival site is located on the banks of a river: the Ganges (Ganga) at Haridwar; the confluence (Sangam) of the Ganges and the Yamuna and the invisible Sarasvati at Allahabad; the Godavari at Nashik; and the Shipra at Ujjain.
At any given place, the Kumbh Mela is held every 12 years. There is a difference of around 3 years between the Kumbh Melas at Haridwar and Nashik; the fairs at Nashik and Ujjain are celebrated in the same year or one year apart.

इस बार कौशल और उनके चार दोस्त प्रयागराज में हुए कुंभ मेले में घूमने गए। इस बार कौशल के साथ अभिलाषा और अरायना नहीं थे। 2019 में प्रयागराज यानि इलाहाबाद में हुआ ये पर्व अर्धकुंभ है। हालांकि योगी आदित्यनाथ सरकार ने इसे कुंभ का नाम दिया है।
कुंभ पर्व हिंदू धर्म का एक महत्वपूर्ण पर्व है, जिसमें करोड़ों श्रद्धालु कुंभ पर्व स्थल हरिद्वार, प्रयाग, उज्जैन और नासिक में स्नान करते हैं। इनमें से प्रत्येक स्थान पर प्रति बारहवें वर्ष और प्रयाग में दो कुंभ पर्वों के बीच छह वर्ष के अंतराल में अर्धकुंभ भी होता है।
