Hello and Welcome to my channel. Today I will share about Diwali Festival Celebrations in Yokohama, Japan, where Japanese artists perform on Indian songs, it was very beautiful.
JAPAN, the very name invokes the sublime feelings of JOY and Excitement. Apartment from the beautifully landscaped gardens, sky scrappers, technological advancement, the Cherry Blossoms that enthrall the world,… it is a land of most polite and humble people who have embedded in themselves the pristine quality of respect to human beings.
Yokohama, the second largest city in Japan, symbolizes the essence of Japanese culture and the spirit of the lovely people of Japan. With its multicultural identity, Yokohama is home to innumerable Indians., who have over the years enjoyed its spirit of hospitality.
Yokohama celebrates Diwali with the same Fun and enthusiasm as is celebrated in India. It is a two day event, marked by Indian dances by Japanese carnival games, Food stalls delightful Indian dishes and Cuisine, shops selling Indian Handicrafts etc. For two full days, Yokohama truly imbibes the Indian flavour of Joy and ecstacy, spreading the spirit of “LIVE AND LET LIVE”. Lot of us go through this journey of fun filled atmosphere of Indo-Japanese curry and Unforgettable experience.
The Diwali Festival in Yokohama is held around October or November every year in Yamashita park, Yokohama. In 2019 this was the 17th year of a Diwali Festival.
