Midorinomori Summer Illumination 2020-Sunflower Milky Way-scheduled to be held from August 7 to 16, 2020 at Sendai Agricultural Garden Center in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture Tohoku Japan.
It was an event held as a summer illumination, which is rare in Japan, but because the car parking space could not be secured, the opening period was shortened by 2 days.While various events were canceled, it was wonderful that we were able to hold it by taking sufficient measures such as temperature measurement and disinfection.Although it was a short period, the illumination of the midsummer, like the Milky Way shining in the garden of the Sendai Agricultural Garden Center where sunflowers bloom, was really wonderful.
宮城県仙台市のせんだい農業園芸センターで2020年8月7日から16日まで開催予定となっていた、みどりの杜サマーイルミネーション2020～ひまわりの天の川～。
全国でも珍しい夏季のイルミネーションとして開催したイベントでしたが、想定以上の反響があり、駐車スペースの確保が難しい事から開催期間を2日短縮しての閉幕となってしまいました。
コロナ禍で各種観光イベントが中止になる中、検温や消毒などの十分な対策を行って開催できた事は、県外で成功事例となった有人でのプライベート花火と併せて先に進むための新たな一歩になったのではないかと感じます。
短い期間でしたが向日葵が咲くせんだい農業園芸センターの園内で輝く天の川のような真夏のイルミネーションが本当に素敵でした。
