Autumn is finally here and the temperatures becoming more comfortable, so I will try to shoot more walking videos again now!

I finally invested in a good video camera, the Fujifilm X-T3, and decided to try it out in Kamakura, a small but charming town located at about one hour by train from central Tokyo.

The walk starts at Enoshima station (Enoden line), and continues along past most major sightseeing spots, including the Komachi Dori shopping street and the impressive Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine .

This was shot during an afternoon on a weekday. Unfortunately Kamakura has seen a massive surge in tourists in the last few years, almost to the degree that its not enjoyable to visit this place anymore…

This video was shot with a Fujifilm X-T3 in 4K 60FPS. The lens used is a Samyang 12mm F2, and the camera was mounted on a Zhiyun Crane for stability. It’s still a bit wobbly though – I probably need to practice on my walking technique to make it smoother…

Straight out of camera footage, shot in 100mbps and with the Eterna film simulation.

I hope you like this travel video from Japan. Please let me know if there are any other places you would like to see me visit, or if you have any other opinions about my movies.
