The Hiroshima Peace Park is a monument to the dropping of the Atomic Bomb on the city and destruction and loss of life caused by the event, and to the resilience of the people to recover and continue.

I begin the walk at the Hypocenter, the place below where the bomb exploded, the epicenter of the damage. I walk to the Atomic Dome, the symbol of event, the damaged building which remains as it was on that day and then cross the river to the Peace Park and the Memorial.
