①どんなところ？
江戸時代、薩摩藩の番所があったことに由来する番所鼻自然公園は、日本地図作成のために立ち寄った伊能忠敬が「天下の絶景なり」と賞賛した景勝地です。
番所鼻からは開聞岳が一望でき、また、鳴らす回数によって祈願の種類が変わる「幸せの鐘」もあります。
おとなりには、日本で唯一のタツノオトシゴ観光養殖場「タツノオトシゴハウス」もあります。

◆Bandokorobana Nature Park
① What kind of place?
The Bandokorobana Nature Park, which was derived from the presence of the Satsuma domain in the Edo period, is a scenic spot that Tadataka Ino, who stopped by to create a map of Japan, praised it as “a superb view of the world.”
There is also a “bell of happiness” where you can see Kaimondake from Bandokorobana Nature Park. The type of prayer changes depending on how many times you ring.

長崎鼻は薩摩半島最南端にある岬です。
浦島太郎が竜宮へ旅立った岬とも言われており、乙姫様を祀った龍宮神社もあります。
長崎鼻にある灯台は「恋する灯台」に認定されていて、開聞岳を二人でゆっくり眺めてみてはいかがでしょうか？
天気のいい日には屋久島まで見ることができますよ。

※ 市営駐車場からは少し歩くので、市営駐車場を車で通り過ぎて、

◆Cape Nagasakibana
① What kind of place?
Nagasakihana is a cape at the southernmost tip of the Satsuma Peninsula.
It is also said that Taro Urashima has left for Ryugu Castle, and there is also the Ryugu Shrine dedicated to Otohime.
The lighthouse in Nagasakihana has been certified as a “love lighthouse,” so why don’t you enjoy watching Kaimon-dake with two people?
You can see up to Yakushima on a sunny day.

Nishi-Oyama Station is a small unmanned station located at the southernmost tip of Japan on JR.
