The first place we visited in Yazd was Chak Chak.
This place is one of the most important Zorastrian shrines located near Yazd, in Iran.
There is a little hike until you get to the actual shrine. Going towards the place, you’ll hear the sound of water drops hitting the ground. That is actually the reason of naming this place as “Chak Chak”.
(In Farsi language, the phoneme of water drops is “Chik Chik” or “Chak Chak”)
