Narrow Boat living and a life of permanent cruising the English canals begins. Leaving Milton Keynes heading North to Gayton Junction along the majestic and historic Grand Union Canal. Our plan was originally to branch of towards Northampton and beyond to the River Nene system. But a last minute change of plans led to us continuing North to Braunston. And that’s the beauty of this lifestyle, plans are made to be changed.

I’m Chris; photographer, and videographer. My great weaknesses are Tropical Islands & Road Tripping, especially through the backroads of Europe and the great open spaces of Africa. My philosophy is to “live each day as though it’s my last, because someday it will be!”

On this channel, I aim to share our nomadic lifestyle through my videos and photos.

We’ve recently bought a narrow boat, on which we are exploring the 3500 km of canals in the UK. I’ll be documenting those adventures on YouTube, and on my other social media channels. After that, Who knows? Perhaps a camper van trip through Europe next summer, and Portugal is definitely on our bucket list, perhaps as a winter “getaway”.

What is Kangela? A word used widely in Southern and East Africa, meaning: to search / to look for / to seek.
