The Japanese Shinkansen, colloquially known in English as the bullet train, is a network of high-speed railway lines in Japan. This train network covers almost whole of Japan.

If you are Japan, it’s the must travel mode.Running at speeds of up to 320 km/hour, the Shinkansen is known for punctuality (on time arrival and departure), comfort, safety (no fatal accidents in its history) and efficiency. Thanks to the Japan Rail Pass, the Shinkansen is very cost effective for tourist, saving both time and money.
On my trip to Japan, in a single day I traveled 1800 km, this can only happen through Shinkansen, and only in Japan.
