I walked from America Village, Osaka to a little outskirts of the love hotel district. The feeling of an underground with a little badness was still the same.
“America Village” is the most vibrant city in Minami, Osaka and has led the youth culture of Kansai. This area extends from Nagahori Dori to Dotonbori on the west side of Osaka Metro Shinsaibashi Station. The center is the triangle park. Here, the performances of young people who want to become entertainers and musicians and flea markets are held.
大阪アメリカ村から、少しはずれのラブホ街のあたりまで歩いてみました。ちょっとガラの悪いアングラな感じは相変わらず。こういう雰囲気の街って意外と珍しいかも。
大阪・ミナミで最も活気があふれ、関西の若者文化をリードしてきた「アメリカ村」。 Osaka Metro心斎橋駅の西側、長堀通りから道頓堀までの範囲に広がる一帯し、ビッグステップや三角公園が有名です。古着屋などが立ち並び、芸人やミュージシャンを志す若者たちのパフォーマンスや、フリーマーケットなどが行われています。
