Few of us staying in Tokyo for the summer got our history on at Kamakura. Visiting Engaku-ji, Hase-dera, and the famous giant buddha at Kotokuin, we were able to sulk in the Japanese culture even in the rain. Yes those wet spots on my back are from the rain…and definitely not sweat.

But the rain let up in the afternoon and we made our way to Enoshima to enjoy some beach action as well.
