Get a sneak-peek into 8 new and upcoming tourist attractions in Japan that will blow your mind. Gundam Factory Yokohama, Super Mario World at Universal Studios Japan, Studio Ghibli Theme Park, and the world’s first anime and manga shopping mall – Tokorozawa Sakura Town.
As soon as travel restrictions are lifted, you bet the first place we’ll be jetting off to is Japan. These new tourist attractions in Japan pretty much explain why we are hanging to get there stat.
The Gundam Factory in Yokohama will have a walking giant robot gundam statue, the geniuses behind TeamLab are launching a new permanent exhibit called “Resonating Life in the Acorn Forest, and Tokyo is also getting a mind-blowing new art aquarium.
On top of that, USJ is opening their new Super Mario World, Tokorozawa Sakura Town dedicated to anime and manga (including an anime hotel) looks absolutely bonkers, Studio Ghibli is building the world’s first theme park based on its most popular anime, there’s also a Starbucks set inside a greenhouse, oh, and did I mention that there’s a haunted drive-in in Tokyo?
Japan has levelled up once again and we cannot wait to go back. I’ll swim across the ocean if it comes down to that.
