Day in Kamakura, Japan: Hydrangea and more [TOP things to DO]

Three weeks ago my friend Ryo and I decided to escape the hectic life in #Tokyo and went to #Kamakura to see the Hydrangea flowers in full bloom. We started off at Meigetsuin Temple which is also known as Hydrangea Temple thanks to hundreds of colorful Hydrangeas growing all over the temple grounds. We then moved to Komachi Street where we did some shopping, walked around Tsurugaoka Hachimangu nearby and then went to eat at a restaurant called Kamakura Misui. We ordered a set meal that consisted of seafood don with the local specialty called Shirasu, udon noodles, tempura, tofu and pickled size dishes. From there we hopped on a train on Enoden line that took us directly to the Yuigahama Beach where we relaxed for a bit. From the beach, it was only a walking distance to Enoshima Island where we tool a long walk to the other side of the island to catch the sunset.
