Zamami Island is part of the Kerama Island Group located southwest of Okinawa Island near mainland Japan. In October 2017, we traveled to Japan and took a few days to explore Okinawa and Kerama Islands. We had a fun time exploring Zamami Island via bicycle. It is quite remote and infrastructure is very limited, however, the beaches are absolutely beautiful! Snorkeling is one of the top things to do on this island! We also ended up doing an impromptu beach clean-up led by my other half!
