This is such a fantastic location for any short (half day, full day) or even a 2-3 days trip , Full of nature.Its so close to the city ,This is the favorite place, not only mine but many in and around Pune ,Whenever you get bored and do not remember plan to go then this is the place. Full of greenery and water in all the seasons. you can find small Bhutta dhabas, Pakode hut sall along with the road and also few good hotels too.its a place ANYTIME to visit within the vicinity of city but still its like a forest area.
After Back water ends its the Tamhini Ghat starts leading you to Konkan road which is from Mumbai to Goa.
You can then travel up to your desire to travel and can stop in between anywhere till you reach the sea shore.Really a beautiful place based on your time from Half day depending upon your availability of time
