Shiokawa is a small river in the Motobu area of Okinawa, Japan. It was named a natural monument in 1972.
The area is significant for a few reasons to include the salt content as well as a special species of seaweed which inhabit this river. The area was considered important to the wetlands as well. NEW WEBSITE:
