Hey World,
In this episode of Flankee in Japan I take you to nanae (ななえ）in Hakodate (函館) to make soba (そば) i.e. Japanese thin noodle made out of buckwheat. It was a very fun and enjoyable day with friends and classmates!
This adventure was bought to you by HUE (Hokkaido University of Education). It was a cultural trip where exchange students like me got to experience the culture up close and personal with locals.
If you want to make soba like I did you can go to Ishii Farm (石井農場) in Nanae for ¥1,575 / 90 mins. Classes run from 11am-1pm you can call (0138) 65-2880
