I’ve been told that there is nothing to do in Chiba, so I never really went there. But as I’ve been expanding my “Tokyo horizon”, I found out that Chiba is a very diverse prefecture with plenty of never ending super bright green ricefields, a beautiful coastline with crystal clear blue water, and many other viewpoints and local shops that you wouldn’t find being recommended in any random Japanese guide. The east side of Chiba is also one of the famoust surf places in Japan and the place where the coming Olympics games will be held. Maybe.
