My $160 Japanese Apartment Tour

Today I’ll be giving you a tour of my super cheap $160/month apartment. I live in a very rural area on the JET Program and live in a teacher’s housing unit, which is why it’s so cheap. Even in the expensive months, my bills plus rent never go over $400 a month! 😍

You can’t tell in the video, but there are a lot of rips and stains on the wallpaper, as well as various other defects around the apartment because it’s never been professionally cleaned. The finishings are all very cheap, too. Still, for the price, it’s hard to complain.

Also, please ignore my inability to look directly at the camera, haha 😰 Anyways, I’ll be moving to Tokyo soon and my rent is going to quadruple, oof. Will definitely miss this place!
