We had our last day in Kagoshima, and it was time to move on to Amami! It’s a wonderful place most people have never visited or even heard about halfway between Kagoshima and Okinawa, and to get there, we had to take an overnight ferry.

Shenanigans ensued 🙂

The ferry had a lot going on inside it, from a food court (that closed before I realized it was there), an arcade, a small public bath, a gift shop, and plenty of space on the top deck. It was a lot of fun hanging out, trying the vending machines, losing at claw games, and reviewing the beer!

NOTE: This was shot in JANUARY – well before COVID. I have a big backlog of footage because I was focusing on graduating from university

* I have the Japan-exclusive HDR CX680, but the only difference from the CX675 is extra internal storage
** I have the older model, the HD60 (not the HD60s). The new model is better, and the old one costs way more, since it’s no longer made.
