Ibukijima Island is famous from Iriko ranked at the highest quality in Japan. Iriko is a dried Japanese anchovy, contains the delicious taste and is used for a soup stock. Ibukijima Island is very close to a fishing place and a fresh Japanese anchovy is produced as soon as caught. That is the reason of the highest quality.
The fishing way is called as a patch fishing, because the form of a floating trawl net is similar to that of a patch ( long underwear pants). The part two of videos introduces “Land Japanese anchovy” in the fishing.
