Jionji Temple at Senseki Line in Tsutsujigaoka, Sendai, Miyagi, Tohoku, Japan
In the center of Sendai, about 3 minutes walk from Sendai Station I came to Jionji Temple. This small temple is situated right next to the Tokusenji Temple and fully almost identical role. Combined with the cemetery is the resting place of a small group of residents of Sendai. Small, because the cemetery is typical for Japan – tiny. The place is very charming – a kind of oasis of calm in the center of a big city.
