Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple, founded in 940 AD, is located in the center of Narita City in northern Chiba Prefecture and is the most famous temple in Japan.
The temple boasts the largest number of visitors in Japan, and many people from all over the country visit it on New Year’s Day and Setsubun.
Every year in early July, a festival called Narita Gion Matsuri is held where many floats go around Narita Station and Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, and the city is filled with excitement.
This time, you will walk on the “Naritasan Omotesando Street” connecting Naritasan Shinshoji and Narita Station.
The route starts from the intersection in front of the station where McDonald’s is, and you walk north on Omotesando. Then we make a U-turn at the main gate of Naritasan Shinshoji and finish in front of the club bar The Barge Inn( ).
