A Toronto pandemic rain walk, filmed downtown on April 7 2020, starting off on the subway going north from Union Station. As you’ll see there’s not a lot of people on the subway train, and we take this subway ride until Dundas station at which point we leave the TTC and head out to Yonge Dundas Square.

In the late spring and summer, Yonge Dundas Square is a hub of activity. Sometimes there are concerts, events, vendors, and even if there isn’t anything officially booked, people mingle in the area and hang out in the area.

West along Dundas St beyond Bay Street there is a long corridor of restaurants that are currently only open for delivery and pick up, and we do a little bit of “window shopping”.

When we get to University Ave in this downtown Toronto walk, we loop back around and have a look at the north side of Dundas until Bay street. When we get to Bay St we head south to a deserted Nathan Phillips square. The Sheraton Hotel (I believe it was the Sheraton) had lights turned on in specific rooms creating a large heart shape.
