A Magnitude 6.2 earthquake woke me, and a large chunk of the people living in Tokyo, up this morning (June 25th 2020). Fortunately, it was not serious, and no-one got hurt as far as I know. But it reminded me to answer some questions I got about earthquakes a few days ago.
