Higher! Further! Faster! In March of 2019, I flew halfway around the world to spend two weeks exploring the states of Assam and Meghalaya in northeast India. During my time in Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, I took a few hours to get to a local theater to see Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel on opening day, March 8!
For those of you who may not know, I am a HUGE Marvel film fan. These are the only films I go to see in the theater, so when a new one comes out, it’s a really big deal for me. I’ve been waiting for Captain Marvel for three years, ever since it was announced, but after the insane ending of Avengers: Infinity War, I’ve been on the edge of my seat!
Being in a foreign country for work wasn’t going to stop me from seeing this movie I’ve waited so long for. Come along with me as I take you to Galleria Anjalee Cinema in Shillong to see Captain Marvel. Afterward, I share my SPOILER-FREE thoughts on the movie! I’m so excited to see what’s to come in the MCU. Bring on Thanos and Avengers: Endgame!!
