The Nova Icària Beach in Barcelona closes due to overcrowding, and advises the beachgoers to move to another beach. The announcement comes at around 12:00 noon, 14th June 2020, just right after my Barcelona beach walk from Port Olimpic, to all of Platja de Nova Icària until the border of Platja de Bogatell.
Barcelona is the capital city of Catalonia and is still on phase 2 of the de-escalation plan, and there’s limit of occupancy of the beaches.
